I had a friend from Africa and we were joking about her pet giraffe and cheetah. until the rest of my coworkers started asking in awe.

Im from Scotland and when I visited New Zealand I managed to convince a whole bar of people that a haggis was a creature that lived in the mountains, and it had one leg shorter than the other so it just went round in circles until it made it to the top. (It's actually a dish of Sheeps pluck, onion, oatmeal and cooked in the Sheeps intestine) Great times.

Just like when you're a Texan that travels outside of Texas and everyone asks if you ride horses everywhere and still have shoot outs in the local saloon ._.

Why would they ask about igloos though? Igloos are usually associated with Alaska or Antarctica.
