Today, I washed my face and grabbed a towel to dry it. I felt something moving down my forehead, thinking it was a drop of water. Upon looking in the mirror, I found it hadn't been a drop of water… unless the water drop had legs and was gooey. FML

Today, with water in my eyes, I stepped out of the shower and rubbed my face with a towel. When I looked in the mirror, I realized there had been a giant spider on the towel. Its guts and legs were smeared all over my face. FML

Today, I was washing my face and I started rinsing the soap off my face with my eyes closed when I felt something gooey on my face. I opened my eyes to realize I had been rubbing snot on my face from when water got up my nose and apparently snot came down with it. FML

15: Yep, it's a legend. It was started by a computer columnist in 1993 that wanted to prove that people would believe anything they read on the internet. Also, spiders have very sensitive hairs on their legs that alert them of movement. The breath issuing from a person's mouth or nose would be enough to tell them to steer clear of that particular opening.
