Today, I went to a date with a girl I thought liked me. We sat down at a restaurant, ordered some food and started talking. After 30 minutes, she said with a sigh of relief, "THANK GOD! There's my dad. Now I can leave. Bye, thanks for the dinner." The food hadn't even arrived yet. FML

I agree with most people - 30 minutes for dinner?! Did you order appetizers? What about a salad that comes before dinner. I don't think any restaurant would leave you sitting there without bringing you at least rolls. She probably left because she got tired of waiting for food, oh.. and your personality probably had something to do with it too.

that seems terribly fake. a girl wouldn't do that. If she waanted to leave really badly she would've NOT even said yes. and why the **** would she get her DAD to come pick her up!!?!
