Today, while driving, I made a fake phone call with my fake boyfriend, making him sound amazing to my friends who were in the car with me. Until the red and blue flashing lights pulled up behind us. My fake boyfriend cost me $160 in real fines. FML

To make myself look less lonely, I put my iPhone up to my ear and started an imaginary conversation with my invisible boyfriend. As I passed him, my phone started ringing loudly. It was him calling. There are two things I don't understand about some people. Why do you care what others think and why to you feel you need a boyfriend to make your life complete? Until you are happy with yourself and don't care what others think your life will always be lame and incomplete. Btw, true friends don't lie to their friends.

You shouldn't care what others think. If you feel you have to impress your friends with an imaginary boyfriend then are they really your friends? Not to mention if you live in a state with a law against driving while on a cell phone then you should have known better even if it was a fake call. You deserve your ticket.
