Today, when I got home, the apartment was clean for once. I gasped in surprise, and my boyfriend came out of the bathroom, carried me to the bedroom, and brutally ravished me. Afterwards, I asked him what brought this on. "Well, I bought a new game and it took forever to download..." FML

Today, I felt frisky, so I did my hair and put on make-up and some lingerie. I walked into the living room, where my husband was playing a video game. He glanced up, said, "Oh, for fuck's sake." and made me wait nearly 15 minutes for him to reach a save-game point. FML

Today, when my new boyfriend told me he liked playing games, he meant a 60" TV with a professional gaming chair in the middle of his living room, and 48-hour gaming marathons where he totally ignores me, refuses to sleep or shower, and only has energy drinks and cheerios. FML

I texted him, threatening to break up unless he opened the door; he texted back to leave my key behind when I left. FML

Wow. When did FML become assholes complaining they got laid? Life doesn’t completely revolve around you lady. He’s allowed to do things other than worship you constantly. Like play a game, or god forbid, clean the house! There are those who don’t even clean the house but game all day and do nothing else, and you complain he ACTUALLY adulted? What a pretentious, self absorbed ass you are.
