It's not so much that the drinking age is 21 that's ridiculous, it's the fact that they're allowed to drive and vote before they're allowed to drink...
As much as this sucks ( and YDI) this could have turned out a lot worse. Honestly, when I was reading it I got to the point when OP gave the money to the stranger and I became worried that OP was going to say that it was an undercover cop.
Awww its like stealing candy from a baby :) Lesson of the day-DON'T trust sketchy strangers, dah PWND you kids!
YDI that guy was smart
I read a neat post from a German citizen somewhere on the Internet. To paraphrase: "In Germany, we learn to drink, *then* we learn to drive. In America, you learn to drink when driving is already a part of your everyday life." IMHO -- and I don't drink but most of my friends do -- the drinking age should be 13 or so. That being said, OP definitely asked for that one. "Hey, little boy, do you want to be a model? Take off your pants and get in the back of my van, I have some blue jeans for you to model!"
Just go to a sketchy store that doesn't ID. Or move to a better country.
#76. This.
Move to Canada, the drinking age here is 19, unless your in Quebec which is 18 ;) I hope you learned your lesson, never trust random sketchies with your money AND STOP SHOULDER TAPPING...tool.
Today, my friend and I wanted to get some alcohol (we're under 21)...*YDI*
that's what you get!!!!
