Maybe you have never heard about a "crime of passion"? You should have beat the man until he was within an inch of his life. You probably would be arrested and go to trial, but since you saw your wife with another man, you went crazy and beat up the man she was with. You would probably go scot free. After that you could divorce your wife and take her for everything she has.
