Today, my neighbor's dog bit me, it was extremely painful. The gash in my leg was deep and bleeding like crazy. When I finally got into my house screaming in agonizing pain, my mother said "Quit bitching, walk it off and you'll be fine." My leg is purple now. FML

Hurting over here

Adding insult to injury

Today, my mom's super spoiled small demon dog attacked my 3 year-old daughter, mauling her leg. Out of instinct, I kicked it away, causing it to fly across the room yelping. I picked up my daughter and took her straight to the hospital, where she got stitches. Later that night, I was greeted with a vet bill. FML

Today, I accidentally slammed my leg against the coffee table. It was only after I went to the bathroom a few minutes later that I realized there's now a massive gash on my upper leg. I also got in trouble for yelling, "SON OF A BITCH!" as soon as the impact occurred. FML

Very bad idea

Today, I slipped and fell down the stairs, landing hard on my knee. Through my screams of agony, my mom accused me of exaggerating the pain, and said I was just being an attention seeker, before finally taking me to hospital. I was told my leg was broken. She refused to apologize. FML

Your mother's right, get over it. Unless your neighbors are abusing or neglecting this dog (if they are that would be a probable reason for the bite anyways) it's likely to have it's shots. Your leg is purple because things called "bruises" exist. I have a 4 inch diameter purple patch with puncture wounds right now from a rescue dog in training, and I'm not dead. Put some hydrogen peroxide and a bandaid on it and listen to your mother when she says get the **** over it. It's never the dog's fault either, either you or the owner, so don't even go there.
