Hi I'm Hunter. If you're reading this, you probably want to know a little about me. I was born on my birthday. Crazy right?! Purple was the first word that I said and coincidentally, it's my favorite color now. When I was little I used to build model rockets that went a few hundred feet in the air. This last school year, my rocketry class -- affiliated with Systems Go -- launched a rocket that almost broke the sound barrier and went about 10,000 feet high. I was honored with the position of being the component manager for the nose cone and helped fabricate it by hand out of aluminum and fiberglass. No store-bought components for us! Next year, I'll be a senior in high school and I'll be the overall project manager for a rocket that we have to go to a military base to launch. It's going ten times as high and about four times as fast! My teacher did a Tedx talk about it and you should definitely check it out!
