Today, I learned that if you have a brain fart and mix up the cleaning steps to the ice cream machine at my job, ice cream can just EXPLODE everywhere. Including on me. It took forever to clean up, and I had to take the trolley home, vaguely sticky and smelling like vanilla soft serve. FML

Today, my son begged me to take him to the doctor for the weeping bloody rash on his penis so I had to take an unpaid day off for his appointment. The doctor laughed us out the door after it turned out to be a good old-fashioned friction burn. FML

Today, my mother, who has no life of her own, barged into my house and demanded to know why we hadn’t had kids yet after 6 months of marriage. She then hoovered the living room for a while, even though I did it yesterday, and only left after criticising my wife’s makeup and body weight. FML
