Today, I just got back from school with my mouth feeling like a bomb site, and also very hungry. I just got my braces installed yesterday, and I have to wear them for 18 months. I can barely eat anything solid, which means I will be hungry more often. It's going to be an awesome 18 months trying to focus on school! FML

Having braces doesnt suck.. its normal. But what is GOING to suck is actually wearing them. It HURTS like hell .. your lips get BROKEN inside the mouth. The pain lasts for a week. And then every time u meet orthodontist (every month) its going to hurt AGAIN .. for some days. .. I have braces :D

Suck it up. I have braces and yeah it sucks. Would you like to have headgear, too? Four sets of rubber bands in your mouth like my mom did? They're just braces. I know grown women and men who have braces. This is NOT fml.

yup i have a ****** up dentist too ,since high school m wearing braces, finally threw them in the toilet sink without telling the dentist & earned a high 5 from mom on my face and all my pocket money gone to get a new one.
