On a social media app somewhere I saw this post that said “A man would leave a 5-10 уеar relationship and then marry another woman he’s known for 6 months. And does all the things his ex begged him to do. Stop preaching to these men, they hear you. He’s not going to ever be the man you want him to be because you’re not the woman he wants to be with. Men change for who they want.” And also I know men are not complicated. They KNOW whether he wants to marry a woman within the first year of a relationship. If it’s been a hot minute and he doesn’t talk about it or hint at it, he’s keeping you as a placeholder until a woman he wants comes along. And from where I’m standing he saved you a lifetime of pain. Imagine if he would have stayed with you and in the back of his mind he wishes he should’ve left and treats your relationship as a chore. The right man will choose you without a second throught and willingly do things with you out of his heart. He saved you from being in a loveless prison. Find someone better.
