Today, I left my wallet on top of my car when I filled up with gas. I drove away and didn't realize it until I got home. I went back and found it on the side of the road. Empty of my credit cards, pictures and checks. All that was left was my driver's license. FML

Today, I went to the store to buy some groceries. Several hours later I realize that I can't find my wallet. After looking all over my house and then the store parking lot, I had my credit cards cancelled. On the drive home, I feel something under me. It was my wallet. FML

Today, I was pulled over and fined $100 for driving without a license, as I'd accidentally left home without my wallet. I later found my wallet wedged beside my car seat, where it had been the entire time. FML

Today, I had to drive down to my parents' house. On they way down, I needed to fill up on gas but unfortunately I'd forgotten my wallet at home with all of my cash and credit cards. I then had to call triple A and explain to them in all seriousness how I ran out of gas at the gas station. FML

Today, while driving, I realized I had left my phone on top of my car when I was getting in. Panicking, I drove back to look for it. I found it in the middle of the street, still intact. Yay! When I went back to my car, I noticed I had locked my door, and the keys were in the ignition. FML

Today, I lost my wallet while out shopping. Panicked, I retraced my steps and found it at a store, turned in by an employee. Grateful, I opened it to find a note that read, "We left the money but took one dollar for karma." I checked. They did actually take one dollar. FML

Today, on my lunch break, I ran to the gas station, and threw some trash away on my way in. On my way out, I realized my keys were missing. Thinking I threw them away, and fearing that I'd be late returning to work, I tore through the disgusting trash only to find my keys on the seat of my car. FML

This is why you keep your wallet in your pocket, your laptop in a bag and put it immediately in your car, put your drink in the cup holder, etc. Why are there so many FMLs where people leave things on their car and something happens? WILL YOU PEOPLE EVER LEARN? Accidents happen, but seriously!

This reminds me, when I was 6 years old...like umm 10 years ago....i saw a wallet in the middle of the street. There were no cars so I rushed to get it, there were $600 in it, nothing else, no info or anything so I decided to keep it. My friend was there so his bitchy mom made me give him half even though he was older than me and was too scared to cross the street!! Also, when I was 4, my mom dropped her wallet in a parking lot of a store very far away from our house. We never found it....5 years later, my mom makes a new friend, then 5 months after meeting her my mom's friend realizes the wallet belonged to my mom..happy ending!! :D But anyways, that sucks!! I clicked YDI though, haha!!
