It's because of dumb bitches like that person that you're not supposed to contact the person directly. You're supposed to drop the wallet at the nearest police station and let them deal with it. That way, when the person has a pissy fit, the cops will be the ones dealing with the wacko's bullshit, and he won't be able to pull something like that.
just go to court and tell them that they can't prove anything then you will loose because we live in a ****** up world
Lesson learned, next time take it to the train office or the police, anonymously.

I would tell him go ahead and file charges- he didn't SEE you take the money, which you didn't, and he can't prove it. End of story. This is why people don't do nice things anymore- cuz it bites them in the butt.
