Content almost refused by staff

Today my boyfriend and I decided to get a kitten. We asked if she is litter trained and they said yes. We showed her the litter box and where things are....I caught her taking a dump on the floor. Guess who's cleaning the carpets.

The kitten may still be litter trained. It just might be distressed. When cats are upset they will sometimes not use the litter box as a sign of disrespect. Give it a couple days as the kitten warms up to the new place.
