Today, I was diagnosed with clinical depression after breaking down in tears in front of my third grade for the third time in a month and having my boss demand that I go out and see a professional. FML

You really should have gone to get help after the first time. You're teaching children, leaving a lasting impression on their lives, taking care of yourself so you do the best job possible is essential. There is no way this should have happened 3 times, and word of it gotten to your boss, before you realized you needed to change something.

You really should have gone to get help after the first time. You're teaching children, leaving a lasting impression on their lives, taking care of yourself so you do the best job possible is essential. Today, my mum got the idea of switching to a different dishwashing detergent. The new one is so strong that it coats all the dishes in a nauseating perfume-like smell. It's so pungent that it gets absorbed into everything we eat or drink. She's determined to use up the entire bottle. FML

Today, when I came out to my family, my mom told me in all seriousness she’d rather me be a prostitute than a lesbian. She added, “At least prostitutes have sex with men.” When I pointed out that lesbians can also be prostitutes, she kicked me out of the house. She’s changed the locks. FML

Today, I was in a rush to get my lunch for work. I quickly opened my fridge to grab it, and accidentally knocked over a beer, spilling a little on my pants. I told myself I'd spray them in the car. I forgot, and when I got into work, someone sat down and commented that they smelled beer. The person was a student. FML

Today, my parents have separated. I stayed with them, living at home far too long for my own comfort, just to help them keep it together after they lost their remaining parents. Literally the month after I moved out, they decided it wasn't worth it. I now suspect they stayed together only because I still lived at home. FML
