Today, I got the birth control implant so I could finally have sex with my boyfriend of a year and a half. He then informs me that we won’t be having sex this month because he is participating in no nut November. FML

If you've lasted 18 months so far, another month won't hurt. December 1st isn't all that far away. I have to ask, though; why have you been abstinent for so long? And why did you have to get an implant before having sex? Is there some reason he won't wear a condom? Was your decision to get the implant made on a whim? If you planned it, why is he taking part in No-nut November?
