Today, I got called by my boss for not showing up to work. Confused, I told her I wasn't scheduled to work today. Her response: "I sent you a picture of your schedule this week." The schedule was for next week, and I was told my job is on the line for this. My aunt is my boss. FML

Reasons to never work with or for family: This. They give you the shittiest assignments because most people will just do the job instead of protesting, because all the other family member has to do is throw a fit and blame it on them. Some people should just talk a nice long walk off a very short dock... over lava.

Today, my ex-boyfriend got married. Normally this wouldn’t bother me at all, had his bride not been the girl we constantly argued about all the time during our relationship. The one he “swore on his grandma’s grave he would never see that way.” Oh, and we broke up 7 months ago. FML

Today, my pulmonologist dropped me as a patient. She kept insisting that my weight was the problem, so I put in the work and lost 60 pounds. My lungs are even worse now than they were when I was obese. So instead of admitting she was wrong and helping me figure out the real issue, she just won't see me anymore. FML
