Content almost refused by staff

Today, I am leaving for an honors band program. I practiced for months to audition and I was accepted into it. We perform a very formal concert. Right as we left I realized, I forgot my dress shoes. Guess I am wearing beaten up old tennis shoes while everyone else looks like royalty. FML

What section are you in? If you're brass or percussion in the back, no one should really notice. Or you could try and get your hands on some black duct tape. I had to do that one year in band camp.
