Today, at 21 years old, I got sick of wearing pads, so I tried to put a tampon in. The pain was so excruciating that I fainted. FML

It's about the angle of insertion. Stand up, hike a leg on something. Then insert. If you choose to sit it's slightly more difficult. Angle the tampon toward your back upon insertion. Also, find a plastic applicator tip. Those cardboard ones scrape. Oh, you did remove the applicator right? Change as needed, but don't leave 1 in past 6-8 hours. Good luck!! :-)

try a smaller size, they shouldnt hurt. but then again ive never worn them so im not an expert
