I’ve been watching a lot of kdramas that have a whole bunch of rich guys that take their girls on amazing dates and everyone looks amazing. I feel very disappointed in my life. I’m very sad.

Don’t compare your life to fiction. Does it honestly make sense to feel envious over fictional lives? Even seeing people’s lives on FB and Instagram, it’s fake. No one shows really how boring their lives are so they make stuff up. Try find happiness within yourself :)

Those aren't real. A lot of guys and girls just go to McDonalds for a date. reality TV is edited and fake.

Today, I learned that I have a sinus infection, ear infection and bronchitis so bad it was on the verge of pneumonia. My work won't let me call in sick. I work with kids. Lovely. FML

Today, I went to meet a friend for coffee. When I arrived, I mistakenly thought it was a casual meet-up, but apparently, it was a date. I didn’t realize this until she leaned in for a kiss at the end, and I awkwardly offered her a fist bump instead. FML

Today, I went to the dentist to have two cavities filled. I hate going to the dentist. After he'd started drilling, I heard a "clunk" noise followed by an "Oops." My dentist had cut my tooth in half. Now I have to get surgery to have the tooth extracted. FML

Today, my husband’s coworker made lunch for him again complete with a “cute” note. I cook every day, but somehow this single woman finds it appropriate to cook and pack lunch for my husband. When I told him it needs to stop, he said I was being too jealous, and she’s just a nice lady. FML

Today, I bought a Halloween fog machine to make my front yard look spooky. I didn’t realize it would set off my house's fire alarm when I tested it before putting it on the front porch. I ended up outside in full costume while firefighters checked my “haunted” house. FML
