Today I learned that I might not be able to visit my sister in Canada for TG because of a DUI I got (deservedly, and served time for) 5 years ago. I’m an otherwise good person. I won’t know until I drive 6 hours and get to the border. And if denied, I either lie or fess up to my whole family. FML.

Bribe the border officer with weed. Oh wait, it's legal in Canada now. Uh... bribe him with sugar cookies? Or just cross your fingers, and hope Canada doesn't prevent visitors based solely on a single DUI.

Today, I was so exhausted that I took a quick nap on the floor of my classroom during one of my free periods. I must have turned off the alarm I set, because I was gently woken up to the giggles of a whole class of students. To make matters worse, I was lying in a big puddle of my own drool. FML

Today, my 6 year old daughter asked me if the tooth fairy was real. I said yes, and she said she wanted to try to catch her. Later, she pulled out a tooth and put it under her pillow. I came in to take out the tooth and replace it with money. There were mouse traps behind her pillow. FML

Today, I was at the mall with my 7-year-old granddaughter. When we entered a clothing store, she pulled me back, saying loudly, "Grandma! This is 'Forever 21'! 'Currently 58' is down that way!" I blame my son for this little troll. FML
