I've said "love you" to people on the phone before hanging up ot of habit like that before!

I mean, it's not that you were serious. And for #2 who said it's creepy, it's honestly not, just a mistake. I usually reply with "hey love" when a female friend say hi to me, and when a male friend did, I slipped up & said the same thing. Sometimes your mind is just not in the right place/ you're not conscious of your reaction.
