Today, my husband and I were having an argument over accidentally leaving a to-go container of leftovers at a restaurant. He asked me why I didn’t remind him and I said that I forgot. He asked me, “What if you forgot to breathe one day? You’d die.” Then he kicked me out of the car and told me to walk home. FML

He sounds like a douchebag. He could have taken it a lot futher than he did. I’d sit him down for a talk when he’s cooled down and let him know it’s not okay to treat you like that. I can’t help but wonder.. how did he end up being your husband? There must have been signs. Just sayin

There are always signs believe me. 90% of people in love overlook the red flags. Its a common occurrence. And why are you so obsessed with me going to “therapy”?

There are always signs? Ted Bundy didn't exhibit any signs, he killed a lot of women. Plenty of TV documentaries on peopl,e who didn’t exhibit signs. My first wife didn’t exhibit any signs that she was going to leave after the birth of our first child (and no, it was not post partum depression). There are not always signs.

I agree on this with you. Guys work up on this behavior to see how far they can go. Systemic abuse can happen and escalate over time to see how far things can be pushed. Really? Over takeout leftovers? He couldn’t go back to get them? That’s the logical answer. He deserves to be dumped.
