I dated a dude like this! He was wearing a hair body suit. It started at his head, connected to his neck, neck to back and arms, back to ass, ass to legs and feet. Even the backs of his hands had hair! He shed worse than a dog. Sorry, OP that's just not sexy.

Who said it was unwanted hair? Maybe OP is- GASP -okay with their appearance? It seems like the hairdresser was more bothered by the extra hair than OP. OP obviously knows it's there, and has chosen not to act on it.

As a hairdresser i can day this happens with older and middle aged men a lot more than you think... Its pretty gross half the time we guess.
