Today, I went to a local concert. The singer from my favorite band stage-dived and I got to catch him. Unfortunately I was the only one to catch him. The next thing I know I'm pinned between him and the concrete floor as he finishes whatever part of the song he was on. He was fine, I hit my head. FML

Today, my band played its first real gig. It was going well, and I, the vocalist, thought it would be a good idea to stage dive. I underestimated the distance between the stage and the crowd and crashed into the floor. FML

Today, my friends and I got front stage tickets to our favorite band. Being my first concert, we planned to start a small mosh pit in the back. I got knocked out by my best friend's elbow and was rushed to the hospital, during the first song. FML

Today, I went to see my favorite band. It was all amazing and great until I decided to go crowd surfing. I was maybe too heavy because people jumped away instead of catching me. I fell right on my tailbone. FML

Today, I was performing for a fairly large crowd with my band. I decided it would look cool to stand on one of the speakers and sing from there. It did look pretty cool for a bit until I tried to step off and fell face-first on the floor mid-song. FML

Today, I went to a concert. One of my favorite bands was performing, and I'd had the ticket for seven months, with a great seat for the show. It was all going perfectly, that is until a guy twice my height sat in front of me. FML

Today, I had my first gig with my new band. I was concentrating on my guitar during the second song when I tripped over the singer's microphone cable, hit my head on the bass drum, and blacked out. When I came to, people were applauding, apparently thinking it was part of the act. FML

Today, I went to a concert with my girlfriend. Some guy grabbed her ass, and I tried to fight him. I ended up with a concussion and a messed up jaw. Her? Oh, she beat the shit out of him while I was unconscious. FML

Today, I was singing and playing keyboards with my band on stage at a club. A drunken chick from the crowd tried to climb up onto the stage in her heels, fell, and grabbed the back of my mic stand to catch herself. And busted me in the mouth with my own microphone. Then she requested a song. FML

Today, my band was playing its first serious gig. I was in the middle of a solo when a drunk guy tackled me, causing me to crash into the drums, breaking them and my guitar, hitting our drummer, knocking him out. FML

Most people would do anything to have the singer from their favourite band land on top of them... Unless you were -seriously- hurt. In which case that sucks and FYL, but YDI for trying to catch the singer solo.

Okay, I've got a profile now so I can elaborate When I say stagedived I mean he intentionally fell off the stage backwards I don't think he took into account (or maybe he did) the fact that the area he was falling into was all girls and most of them were about 5 foot I'm almost 6 foot so he hit me first and all the little girls around me watched in horror and did not attempt to help at all It would have been amazing to have him on top of me if: 1)he fell facing me 2)I hadn't hit my head hard enough to end up with a minor concussion 3)my literally brand new sunglasses hadn't slid across the concrete and been scratched all to hell 4)the pit guard hadn't stepped on my hair while he attempted to pull me to my feet It was a great concert over all and I don't mind really cause its a pretty funny story after the fact but it was definitely painful

also, he's in my favorite local band not my favorite overall band I actually already know him on a personal level so it was nothing special to get close to him he has a girlfriend so its not like i could've got a date out of it and in an attempt to get some kind of apology out of him afterward I jokingly apologized for failing to catch him single handedly he took me seriously and told me not to worry about it.

He's a musician. I understand that after performing a few shows of my own. No matter what happens, finish the song. It looks bad for something to happen when a song is going, but worse if the song stops.

if the singer, Pierre Bouvier, of my favourite band in the whole world, Simple Plan, fell on me, I would die of happiness. I would just lie down there on the floor and hug him and i won't let him go. ok maybe not. but that would be really awesome if Pierre fell on me. I would want that to happen. I would get to meet him coz he would have to say sorry of course :) btw, what band was it?
