Today, I was strolling along a sidewalk when I noticed that my shoelace was untied. As I knelt down to tie it, my brand new $1,000 phone fell out of my pocket and into a storm sewer. FML

So many people are blind. Alot of top phones are getting close to 1k. Note 8 anyone? Don't hear alot of bashing for people buying that. And don't say it's cheaper than the X. Cause at close to 1k a couple tens of dollars don't make that big of a difference.

technically note 8 has way more features spen,iris scanner,headphone jack.in the box comes a fast charger unlike the iphone x. also if the s pen doesnt matter much you can buy the s8 plus for less than $600

I honestly don't understand the hysteria around extremely expensive iPhones. I do have one but it's an old model that cost me €75 (about $80), and which is perfectly fine for mainstream use. I just can't fathom blowing a holiday budget on a phone. I must be getting old.
