Boo ******* hoo, some guy took his own hard earned money and paid for something they care about's health instead of listening to some dumb **** on the internet and giving it to charity. What about people who spend hundreds of thousands more to buy a bigger house, even though they don't really a house that big? Shouldn't they have given their money to charity? What about billionaires who spend their money on playboy bunny slaves? How many little African kids would you save if he gave all his money to charity? Face it you dumb *****, giving your money to charity is an option, stop making it seem like this guy was obligated to do it just because he spent money on his dog. You know what else people do? They spend loads of money buying food for their dogs! And pfft, we ALL know dogs don't need food! They should have spend that money on some poor kids in Africa with AIDS to let them live a few more days even though they're already on death row because no amount of money even in your stupid ******* idealistic bubble could save them all. Grow the **** up.

Whoever would spend 15000 on a DOG deserves this.

This just proves that you care about your pets and that you are a good owner. I am sorry for your loss.

Sorry about your loss:( Poor doggy.

Op here and yea the dog s Ina. Better place. And some of the comments are good and the others well yea.

I'm sorry to hear that. I know I love my dog more than some of my family. I would in all seriousness have a mental breakdown if my dog died, because there seems to be a binding effect to an animals innocence. The only consolation I can give is at least there is no more pain.

I'm sorry, OP. Obviously you love your dog very much. Your pet is in a better place now... Maybe they knew it was their time and wanted to save you any additional cost in trying to save them? Either way, your dog was lucky to have you as an owner!

I am so, so sorry. A similar thing happened to my family and me, only we didn't know what the hell he had (liver cancer and God knows what else) until the day he died, so we basically spent beaucoup bucks trying to figure out what he had as opposed to intensively treating it. Again, I am sorry for your loss. Maybe your dog and mine are frolicking together, healthily, for what little consolation that's worth.

To all of you saying he was should have spent it buying a new dog or donating to someone who hasn't earnt it grow up! Some people consider their dogs family and have been with them a long time. Would you do it to save someone you considered family? OP didn't want to just go and replace an important part of his life. And they earnt their money by working hard so they can spend it in whatever they want!

Look on the bright side. It could make a lovely stew
