Today, I found out the guy I consider my best friend has had a girlfriend for the past year, and they have been living together for the past 7 months. He and I have been having unprotected sex for the past 4 and a half years, and have even talked about having kids together. I only found out because I'll be their new roommate. FML

I agree with #1, when you say "decided to tell everyone" it makes it sound like you were in a big group of people. So the logical conclusion is that he didn't want to admit to sleeping with you. Because he's ashamed or he actually does like you, we'll never know. By the way, why would you only "hook up" with him if you have serious feelings for him? He probably just sees you as a friend with benefits now.

Okay I'm pretty sure he remembered. Lets think about this. If a guy had sex all the time then yeah, he might not remember mediocre sex. However, if it had actually been two whole years...he would remember, not matter how unmemorable it was. You are being silly, if he so rarely gets laid, he would remember banging you, a girl he sees all the time. Unless he was drunk. Then YDI for having sex with your best friend when he was REALLY trashed.

i found out, two years after high school that i had sex with my first serious girlfriend of two years. the reason i didn't know is because i was on medication at the time that i didn't tell her about. it was for migraines. the side affect was short term memory loss. unfortunately, after telling me, and hearing about all the terrible things that happened all three times, i wish i would have just never known :)
