When you say you found an old USB drive I’m hoping it was your USB drive and not when you picked up off the ground. If you come across one on the floor or ground even at a public place, especially at a public place, never plugged into your computer because they have used those to inject malware, including companies when somebody decides to plug it into a company laptop. This is why auto run is constantly disabled on work, laptops, and desktops, and they’ve disabled mass storage support as well.
