I have a wedding dress that she is welcomed to have. Please send me a private message (I am currently at work and may not respond right away)
That is so sweet. :)
some faith in humanity restored
Does she have home and contents insurance? I'm pretty sure she could claim the dress as property damage if she does.
You should sue her for the dress, and for the psychological impact on your fiancée
Well fortunately your fiancé is safe and that's what matters the most
Flashback from Orange Is the New Black's similar scene with Lorna and Christopher
The nutjob should have to pay for a new dress
I really hope the judge is making her pay for it and punitive damages ... that's literally insane
A wedding is about uniting two people for the rest of their lives, not about an overpriced dress that will only be worn once. There are dress rental places if it's a necessity to her, but that shouldn't put a halt to your wedding.
Broke in? Holy crap report her to the police
Read the rest of the FML, she's in jail.
You could definitely sue her if you haven't already.

Look on the bright side: at least she didn't cut up your fiancée.
There should be some law that will let you sue her and get that money back.
