I'm already on a ton of medication anyways. I'm trying to find a balance between too much and too little salt, it's just tricky. My doctor is usually pretty helpful, more so that others I've seen. My health issues are just kind of complex so it's a handful trying to keep it all under control.

I also have multiple chronic issues. Unfortunately mine cannot be treated by diet. It can be treated with meds which no doctor will give me. Every time i say in the community "yeah im on no meds.." They always answer "how have you not killed yourself yet?" Its hard not to trust me. And if someone responds, i have zero clue how to check it. Im not suicidal, its against my beliefs :).
If his response is to shrug, I might suggest seeking a new doctor. That is not a professional way to react when your career is centered on helping people with their health issues.
Have they tested you for POTS op? Its a autonomical (sp) disorder where your heart rate increases and/or blood pressure drops rapidly when you go from laying down to sitting to standing. Its a cardiologist thing, most doctors wouldnt know to check for it.
You should ask a dietetian (RD) because doctors are not really schooled in diets whereas dietitians know how to deal with multiple conditions to create diet plans.
Time to find a real doctor!!
Get a second opinion. Your health is no laughing matter especially with things as serious as vertigo and blood pressure. See if you can consult another doctor.
Next time read the number of Follow ups before Christmas.

Maybe try to get a second opinion on it OP. Two verdicts are better than one.
Next time take his advice with a grain of salt.
