this is so cute, it reminds me of the wedding we would stage as kids. maybe he wanted you to pick a ring you actually liked... i can only hope for this someday.

Yeah, maybe it was adorable or he's just not materialistic.....or maybe he should wait until he has the mentality of someone older than ten to get married. If you hate the idea, he probably doesn't know that well, and if he's being spontaneous, well, he didn't think such a big thing through, now did he?

i think it's really cute. He might not have had enough money for a real ring, or something. I just hope that if it was spur of the moment then you ask him does he really love you? If he knew you'd be pissed thats a really shitty thing to do. He could have just proposed without a ring. Or mabye he thought it would be cute until he could get a real ring. I would be ok with a ring from ******* chuckee cheese or from "Jared" as long as the guy loved me. the place doesn't matter either. My dad proposed to my mom in a car wash. P.S: if you said yes then think about some really cute years ahead. Every time you see a ring pop you'll probably laugh. Mabye a few candy necklaces to go with your ring on anniversaries!

Aww, that's kinda cute. Kinda dorky, and I suppose if you're the really romantic type, sort of a turn off. Still, props for the effort and originality.

I have always imagined a guy proposing to me with a ring pop or one of those 25 cent dispenser rings. A guy who knew love wasn't about money, a guy who had a good sense of humor. It's sad that such a great guy is being wasted on a stuck up chick like you.
