Today, I was called a "Potato" for at least the 30th time by people online for living in Idaho. I've lived here my whole life, I have yet to see a potato farm. None of these people has even left the East Coast. FML

Don't worry OP, I'm sure you'd be a sweet potato. All corniness aside, don't take it too seriously, those people are living in ignorance.

I guess you must be one hot potato

I'm from New York and everyone assumes I love Bagels. And I do.

Loving bagels is a New York thing? I thought it was an "everyone with a modicum of common sense" thing.

Yeah, by many it's considered a New York thing. Especially New York City.

#30 Bagels are to New York as gambling is to Vegas o.o

I have never had a better bagel in my life than the ones my grandparents used to bring us from NYC. Nine states, four provinces, 2 other countries. NYC bagels win hands down.

I lived in north Idaho (Lewiston) for 9 years. No potatoes there; just cowboys, Indians, lumberjacks, & rednecks. I'm very glad to have moved on & moved out!

I know how you feel. I'm from Arizona and every thinks I'm one of the sand people from Star Wars.

That isn't the perfect scenario but it is really worth ******* your life over?

Every state has some sort of stereotypical thing about it. For example... What do you call a Washingtonian? Caffeinated.

#56, you wouldn't be saying that if you saw the cost of living up here.

No kidding #59. I'd have to relocate from Seattle to Spokane if I wanted to live on my own with the wages I currently make.

Is it really worse than being from Maryland, and being known as having crabs?

I've never heard this one before. But I have heard of "Duck Farmers" regarding North Harford and "Heroine High" regarding Fallston High school.
