Today, I presented my assigned chapter for a book we're currently reading in my English class. I really like the book, so I've been reading ahead. When I summarized the chapter, I accidentally spoiled a major plot twist that was actually in the next chapter. FML

We're getting mad at them for wanting to read. Ironic xD

You deserved it for reading ahead. They don't want you doing that for a reason.

I had classes that took three months to read a 300 page book. I'm sorry, but when it's that spread out, I can't remember what happened between readings and it is a struggle to read. I don't like reading a book while I'm in the middle of another one and reading only one book in three months would just be sad for me. If I liked the book (and I liked just about all of them), I would read it at my pace and then would reread chapters at their pace.

Am I the only one who actually likes spoilers and wants to know what happens ahead?

Agh I feel you this has actually happened to me before

so most likely your classmates are mad that you spoiled a plot twist (if they are even reading the book or just Sparknoting it) but with all the technology going on today, good for you to really getting into the Book. and it will be okay because everybody makes a mistake so don't be too hard on yourself OP

"Especially when Snape let the killing curse hit Dumbledore. Harry was speechless as he watched Dumbledore fall off the astronomy tower. You can see the loyalty in Severus even from this point, although he might just look like he is on Voldemort's side at this moment"

I'm surprised you didn't critique your own paper before you read it out loud in class, I guess you're not the one to watch a movie with you might spoil the climax
