Today, I found out my mom is signing me up for summer school, while she and my sister go to Hong Kong for the summer. Not only am I missing out on that, but I'm also missing out on a cruise with my cousin, who my parents suggest I stop hanging out with because apparently, he's "too old" for me. FML

Well the comment with your cousin sounds a little weird, it does seem like they think you're trying to date each other. If you get along and enjoy each other's company, there's no reason you can't hang out, age shouldn't matter here. However, the rest of it depends on if you really need summer school or not. If you did bad in your classes and need to improve, ydi, and you should be missing travelling in favour of schooling. If did fine though, then it sucks you got signed up for it, and you should talk to your mom about not going.
