If you're lucky it may be stuck in the pipe trap / u- bend. They're fairly easy to open.
You should throw the other diamond earring down the drain, too. You wouldn't want to break up the set of diamond earrings! After you lose them, maybe you won't be so annoyingly boastful that your earrings are diamond -- we get it: you're rich or pretending to be so.
