Today, my mother asked me if I'd heard of anal sex. Before I could fully process her question, she explained that it's dangerous because the tissues of the anus are finer and more susceptible to STDs. There were still forty minutes left in our car ride. FML

@40, anal is not gross when it is between a male and a female. actually it's a whole different form of an ****** for the female which is awesome! people only think it's gross because it's associated with gays and HIV. however w/your partner it's actually very enjoyable.

Sooo, it's normal between man and woman, but not between man and man/woman and woman? Strange. And I don't know a single women who can get an ****** just by anal sex. Really, if you then want to get one, you have to take care of it yourself. Also, don't forget that not everybody finds it very enjoyable. It can be painfull, you know. Just saying.

I don't get why people are so grossed out about anal. It's great! And that goes for whether you're gay or straight, man or woman. Do anal! But remember to use lots of lube and to take it slow at the beginning.

For what it's worth, there is truth to the mother's statement. Because there is a higher concentration of blood vessels there, receptive anal sex poses the highest risk of STI/STD transmission. And while I'm at it, STDs pass easier from male to female than from female to male because of the relative amount of surface area that each possess.
