Lets stop the confusing the color of the dress is really blue and black but when a certain amount of light is on the dress it changes to white and gold. So because of that putting it in a natural area that isnt lit up by lights it will be blue and black.

OP, its a trick based on brightness of the image, play around with it on your phone. When you see both, show your now ex, its a silly thing to break up over. That or find the dress on Amazon, actually says its navy blue.

I don't understand the dress. I see white and gold. But in the article I read they also had the dress as blue and black, right below it. But that one looked like it was colored with photoshop. I don't understand it as I never have trouble seeing blue or black. But, on topic... The relationship probably was not going to work out anyway if this is why you broke up.

It's two different photos. If you invert the photo the dress magically becomes gold and white.
