Today, I was planning to take it easy with workout, coffee, good food and a couple movies. When suddenly my girlfriend calls me and says her family of father, aunt and grandma is coming for a stay-over visit. Straight without any notice in advance. Now I'm stuck getting the place presentable. FML.

Not cool, even if your girlfriends family are great people to be around, to be blindsided with 3 overnight houseguests, NOT COOL. I am just curious if she knew beforehand, if she did, that's even worse, if not, it seems like something you would discuss with your housemate/partner/boyfriend, rather than just allowing it to happen.

Today, I sent an email to several coworkers about an "incident" I had just created, asking them to look into it. It wasn't until one of them responded that I discovered that instead of "incident" I had typed "incest." I wish I could say this was a typo or autocorrect, but it was more a Freudian slip. FML

Today, I gave a housewarming gift to my new neighbor, a cookbook titled "Quick and Easy Meals for the Busy Bachelor." He thanked me awkwardly and later mentioned that he and his husband have been married for ten years. FML

Today, I was threatened with arrest for refusing to accept a citation for having a dog off leash in a park. It wasn’t my fucking dog! It was a very friendly stray that started following me on my morning walk. I tried to explain myself but the dog wouldn’t leave my side or stop barking at the cop. FML
