Today, I had the pleasure to get acquainted with my new upstairs neighbor. I was promptly greeted with a cigarette bud landing on my new wool coat, leaving ash spots everywhere. FML

When meeting a new neighbor for the first time, never ever start a first impression with a complaint. (People usually only throw things at people who are complaining). Also butt* not bud.

Today, my son waited until the night before he had a presentation on Arkansas due to tell me about it. We (meaning me, alone) stayed up until 3 am making a topographical map of the state out of plaster and drywall. At 8 a.m., a half hour after he got on the bus, I found it laying on his bed. FML

Today, my new neighbours' favourite sexual position is apparently for him to screw her up against the wall while she talks dirty. How do I know this? That wall backs right onto the headboard of my bed, and in this rented space my bedroom is too small for the bed to go anywhere else. I know, I've tried. FML
