"911 how many I help you" "PLEASE HELP ME I CAN'T DO THIS!!" "Sir please calm down what is the problem?" "I CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHAT 2+2 IS" *phone line goes dead*

I've heard a 911 call with this exact same scenario before. Did he get help or no? Lol

Sometimes maths is a crisis we need to solve.

What if there was a hotline for math and you just ask for the answer to a problem you're having difficulties with.

There's a video on YouTube of this same situation

At least he knows the numbers 9 and 1.

Mighty bold of you to call people stupid with that user name mate :)

They are there to help in an emergency

Sometimes solving math problems can be an emergency.

I've read this on Facebook in the past..the man actually helped him with it. Anyway, if he's really young then maybe this is cute. If he isn't..it's probably time to educate about what 'emergency' means.

I would say in either case he needs to be taught the kinds of emergencies that you call 911 for, and those that you call mom and dad for. It may be cute, but his parents could have gotten in serious trouble when he did it!

This has actually happened before lol!

You should've taught him that 911 is for actual emergencies, YDI

Wasn't there a news story with this exact same thing a couple years ago and the operator actually helped the kid with his homework?
