Today, my room mate told me he's madly in love with me. It wouldn't be so bad if the feeling was mutual, or if he didn't tell me on his birthday. We also just renewed our 12 month lease. Fml.

I don't see why this is so terrible, so long as he respects boundaries and the fact that his feelings aren't returned.
