That's why you want to keep, at the very least the front claws trimmed. No excuses if he pulls the paws away. Do it while asleep naturally or give some kitty sedative through food. Or do it while you're 120% relaxed and it awake. Mine senses any small change in emotion immediately.
Trim his nails
I just imagined the cat getting scared with the paw in OP's nose oh Lord.
My cat constantly gets his claw stuck in my nose ring, panics when I try to help him get it out and almost ******* rips my piercing out. I feel your pain.
I think it's time for you to wear a stud. Chances are it will eventually rip out if this keeps happening!
At least it wasn't in another hole.
We need an update on this. Was it a layer of the cats claw still intact that got stuck or the claw still attached to the paw?
So do you go to the vet or the doctors?

How'd you get it out?
