Well, you have a birthday every year, the Olympics only come every two years. Obviously the rarer thing is more important OP, how dare you be upset! Kidding. It's pretty ****** that they are remembering sports before your birthday. Someone should have given you a gold medal for being the birthday person. (Also, yes, every other year. Because the winter and summer are staggered.)

True .. But Winter Olympics wouldn't matter cause they don't come on during ops birthday.. Also in my opinion summer games are better

My point is that the Olympics are largely a spectator thing, and people who watch one tend to watch the other. They can see Olympics every other year, and they can also always RECORD the Olympics of this year. They can't record their friend's birthday and go into the recording to celebrate it.

Thats kindof a narcissistic attitude. Don't expect so much. People are lazy. If you had a party in the works, they'd go but to expect them to plan something for you is not gonna work out. Someone else said have an Olympic themed party. That sounds like a good idea.

Haha, I didn't really celebrate mine, all I did was have a birthday cake... And got toys for my two little ones. My fiancé's gift was the best... But I got it after the girls bedtime... I got a full body massage and was off duty from taking care of the girls throughout the night... Just remember, it's the little things that can make the night so much better...
