Today, I went on a blind date for dinner, She said about 10 words then went on her phone for the rest of the night, she then expected me to pay for her $60 meal. FML

If you pointed it out to her prior you shouldn't have to pay. But if you just let her keep on without saying anything then idk man

Did you attempt conversation to distract her from her phone? If so, you life dose suck. However, if you just sat there while she snap chatted her meal or told everyone on Twitter how boring the date is then you kind of deserved it, should pay up and consider it a loss.

Why would someone pay for the other one without being in a relationship and being invited by the other one because of a special occasion like birthday etc? I don't get it and think it's pretty rude to expect someone to pay what they ordered. She should pay her own meal or you could both split the bill, that's how dates work.
