Content almost refused by staff

Today, I was caught by a red light camera for turning at the red light. I guess no-one can explain the sign with "Left turn on permitted after stopping." FML

Can't you sue the city for a invalid sign like that?

I'm from NSW too. Just take a picture of the intersection with the sign, contest the fine through the state debt recovery office and send the picture along as evidence, if they have anyone there with half a brain, the fine will be overturned. You can do it all online these days and in fact the red light camera pictures, which you can view, probably show the sign too. I've got some experience with idiot red light cameras.
