Content almost refused by staff

Today, I turned 19. Last week, my mother denied ever offering to pay for my cruise to the Bahamas in April, and yesterday, when the rain storm made me postpone my birthday plans, she denied ever having offered to pay for my party. Happy Birthday to me. FML

Oh boy, gas lighting! How lovely. I'm being sarcastic about the lovely part, but it really does sound like she's gas lighting you. I suggest not believing her about anything financial wise, and if she does say something like these events, get it written down by her so you can not only prove to her she said it, but prove it to yourself as well. I'd also keep an eye out for other negative behaviors just in case.
