Today, I slept through numerous alarms because of some cold medicine I took last night. I was 2 hours late to work. It's my second day.

Now you know, hopefully you can have someone else in your household wake you next time you take those med's. If not, you're going to have to lay off them on work nights I guess.

Hopefully your boss understood and is in a 'just don't let it happen again' kind of mood. If alarms don't work and you happen to live alone, put a tv on a timer. That might work.
