Today, I finally received a long awaited interview for medical school. Not only was I struck down with a bad case of diarrhoea, I was also sick 8 times on the two-hour long train journey. I guess I was a delight to interview, when I came in reeking of sick, with my face a nasty shade of pale. FML

I know it was long awaited but surely part of being a doctor is getting the right treatment and if you threw up you should stay away for 24 hours at least as you are contagious.

Today, I set my alarm for 3:30 AM to catch an early flight. I got up, got dressed, and arrived at the airport in record time. While checking in, I was told that my flight is tomorrow morning. I’m now wide awake and sitting in a 24-hour diner, having a very early breakfast. FML

Today, I was once again berated by an idiotic parent. I’ve been called a filthy liberal, a groomer, and had my job threatened several times. All of this because I was teaching second graders about pronouns. You know, the part of English grammar that replaces a noun. Nothing political at all. FML

Today, I woke up sweating and gasping for air after having a terrible nightmare. The nightmare involved my deceased mother-in-law bitching me out for being a bad influence on her daughter and threatening to cut my nuts off. Even in death, she won't leave me be. FML
